REFERRALS

When will the GP deliver a referral letter?
The referral letter is a medical tool that must be used judiciously. Physicians should assess whether it truly benefits the patient, preventing unnecessary delays in care and avoiding added strain on hospital resources.
Its purpose is to facilitate a thorough evaluation, reducing the risk of undiagnosed serious conditions.
